Welcome to Himalayan Frontiers Tibet World Imports!  Our retail store is located in Raleigh, North Carolina in the Triangle Town Center Mall.  The store is owned and operated by Sherab and SoiLan Lama.  We have been in business since 1999.

We travel the world over to bring you fine quality gifts, home and personal accessories.   Most of our products are from the Himalayan countries of Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and countries bordering the Himalayan region.   We do not deal with middle men, but purchase our products directly from family artisans who pass on the skills to their children and grandchildren.  We personally select our products and sit with our craftspeople over a traditional cup of tea as we conduct business.  Our products are fair trade, and in many cases benefit associations formed to provide income to illiterate women.

In our store we pride ourselves on offering personal customer service.  We love to share the cultural aspects of the products.  Many items have symbolic meaning that are believed to offer protection and guidance.   We wish you could visit our store in person and warmly welcome you to do so.  However, even if you cannot visit us in person, we would like to be able to offer you the same service on-line, so please feel free to contact us via e-mail  or simply give us a call.
